GREEN DRUM GROUPS 2017

Jan 7th 2017 - Oakland 10-5pm Explorations of Prayer -In collaboration with Illana Berger
Corey Hitchcock & Phillip Scott

Saturday: Meeting Your Allies & Fixing Their Blessings Journey Work & Art - Corey HItchcock
'Journeying or 'Riding the drum' is embodied prayer and part of humanity's most ancient system of connecting with our intelligent universe – and a modality for meeting compassionate allies of parallel realms. As part of this session you will journey with the living drum to activate a relationship with a teacher - one who is already waiting for you. Your connection to this special ally was made as you came into being, created for you alone.

Meeting a Great Being requires a respectful acknowledgement of the blessings and messages brought forward in the encounter. So we will create visual records to honor our interactions on paper with paint & drawing materials and whatever seems essential. To 'Fix the Blessings' in this way helps you seal your personal connection to this spirit ally - a relationship to hold close and rely on as you move on in this work and in life. Each encounter with these generous allies will allow you new opportunities to expand your awareness through sacred messages and even to complete specific healing tasks. I am looking forward to being with you.

I will join Illana Berger to explore the depths of prayer. Beginning with Shamanic Journey & Art process and then diving into the sacred stone people lodge to experience the offering of prayers to the Great Mystery of life.

Illana will give an introduction each day Saturday on what prayer is, what prayer isn't, how it might hold and sustain our hearts and souls, and how it contributes to healing and transforming our lives.
